Check that the motor turns smoothly when the battery is connected to the cooling fan motor connector.

Install a new gasket to the thermostat.

Immerse the water inlet with thermostat in water and gradually heat the water.

Remove the 11 clips and intake duct seal.

Align the protrusions and install a new gasket onto the timing chain cover.

Turn the pulley and check that the water pump bearing moves smoothly and quietly.

Remove the 11 clips and intake duct seal.

Remove the radiator cap.
