The maximum steering angle setting must be carried out with the engine on. Apply the parking brake, depress the brake pedal, move the shift lever to the N position, and ensure that the vehicle is not running.

Clearance Sonar System - Clearance Sonar Main Switch Circuit

The clearance sonar main switch is installed on the instrument panel safety pad assembly.


When the clearance sonar main switch in turned ON, an ON signal is sent to the clearance warning ECU through the BEAN line. The clearance sonar system operates according to this signal.

Dtc B2241 Rear Right Sensor Malfunction

The No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (rear right sensor) is installed on the rear bumper.


The clearance warning ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the rear right sensor. If the rear right sensor's circuit has an open, short or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Dtc B2237 Rear Left Sensor Malfunction

The No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (rear left sensor) is installed on the rear bumper.


The clearance warning ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the rear left sensor. If the rear left sensor's circuit has an open, short or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Dtc B2239 Rear Right Center Sensor Malfunction

The No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (rear right center sensor) is installed on the rear bumper.


The clearance warning ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the rear right center sensor. If the rear right center sensor's circuit has an open, short or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Dtc B2235 Front Right Sensor Malfunction

The No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (front right sensor) is installed on the front bumper.


The clearance warning ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the front right sensor. If the front right sensor's circuit has an open, short or other malfunction, it will not function normally.
