Rear Door Speaker -- Inspection



1. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER SET (except 14 Speakers)

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    (Rear Speaker Set)
    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		Always
    		4 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker set.


2. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER SET (for 14 Speakers)

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		Always
    		1.5 to 2.3 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker set.


3. INSPECT REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 14 Speakers)

  1. When there is a malfunction such as noise from a speaker or no sound at all, replace the speaker with a new one and check that the malfunction disappears.

    OK:
    Malfunction disappears.
    HINT:
    1. Connect all the connectors to the rear No. 3 speakers.
    2. When there is a possibility that either the right or left rear speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
    3. Perform the inspection above on both LH and RH sides.
