DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.
The yaw rate and deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly has a built-in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the CAN communication system, the DTC U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) is output.
These DTCs are also output when calibration has not been completed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHR078X.html).
  2. Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
HINT:
When U0124 and/or U0126 is output together with C1419 and/or C1435, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U0124 and/or U0126 first (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000YUO0EPX.html).
1.REPLACE YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY)

  1. Replace the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000V6U02AX.html).

    NOTICE:
    Check the yaw rate and deceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) signal after replacement (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XHT098X.html).
    HINT:
