CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)

INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)

LIGHTING SYSTEM (for Hatchback) - Headlight Dimmer Switch Circuit


DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives the following signals:
  1. Headlight dimmer switch TAIL, HEAD, HIGH or high flash signal
  2. Fog light switch signal*1
    1. *1: w/ Fog Light
The combination meter assembly receives the following signals:
  1. Turn signal switch turn right or turn left signal

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the Techstream on.

  1. Enter the following menus:

    1. for Main Body ECU: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    2. for Combination Meter: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

  1. According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
