  1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Headlight Dimmer Switch (For Hatchback) -- Removal



1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    		Protective Tape

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    If the claw is pushed with excessive force, it may break.


3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Using pliers, expand the clamp as shown in the illustration.

  1. While holding the clamp expand, disengage the claw and remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly as shown in the illustration.
