DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in a connected device.DTC Code

| Either condition is met.
- Non mass-storage class or incompatible protocol USB device.
- USB device with an incompatible file system, corrupted or incompatible File Allocation Table (FAT).
- "iPod" malfunction.
- "iPod" with unsupported firmware.
- Unsupported "iPod" model.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- HINT:
- For vehicles equipped with an Extension Module, refer to optional equipment's manuals.
- After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.
1.REPLACE USB DEVICE OR "iPod" |
Disconnect the USB device or "iPod" from the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
Turn the ignition switch off.
- HINT:
- When this DTC has been stored, it is necessary to turn off the power switch to make it possible for the vehicle to recognize a new device when it is connected.
Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
Connect a known good USB device or "iPod" to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
- HINT:
- If the malfunction occurred when a USB device was in use, use another USB device for the inspection. If the malfunction occurred when an "iPod" was in use, use another "iPod" for the inspection.
- Refer to System Description for compatible formats and versions (HILUX_TGN26 RM000003YVK017X.html).
Clear the DTCs (HILUX_TGN26 RM0000011BU0J0X.html).
Check for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
- HINT:
- If DTCs are stored frequently, replace the radio and display receiver assembly.
- OK:
- No DTC is output.
