  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET (for HID Headlight)

  4. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight)

  5. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET

  6. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

  7. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

  8. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

  10. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

  11. INSTALL HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER (for HID Headlight)

  12. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB

Headlight Assembly -- Reassembly



1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING

  1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing.

    NOTICE:
    After the headlight leveling motor base packing is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.


2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction indicated by the arrow to engage the shaft.

  1. Turn the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.



3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET (for HID Headlight)

  1. Install a new headlight gasket.

    NOTICE:
    After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.


4. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight)

  1. Connect the connector.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the light control ECU sub-assembly with the 4 screws.



5. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET


6. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

  1. Install the clearance light bulb to the clearance light socket.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Turn the clearance light bulb and clearance light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.



7. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET


8. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

  1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the front turn signal light socket.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Turn the front turn signal light bulb and front turn signal light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.



9. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the No. 1 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.



10. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

  1. Lock the set spring to install the discharge headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

  1. Turn the light control ECU socket in the direction indicated by the arrow to connect it.



11. INSTALL HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER (for HID Headlight)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the headlight socket cover as shown in the illustration.



12. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the No. 2 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.
