Transmission Oil Cooler Removal

  1. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AND NO. 2 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES

  2. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET HOSE

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE

Transmission Oil Cooler -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AND NO. 2 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES

  1. Disconnect the 2 hoses from the 2 No. 1 flexible hose clamps.

  1. Detach the 2 claws to open the 2 automatic transmission oil cooler tube clamps.

  1. Disconnect the 2 hoses from the radiator.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 No. 1 flexible hose clamps.

  1. Remove the 2 automatic transmission oil cooler tube clamps.

  1. Disconnect the 2 hoses from the transmission oil filler tube and oil cooler tube.



2. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose from the oil cooler tube and transaxle.

  1. Remove the bolt and oil cooler tube.



3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET HOSE

  1. Disconnect the No.1 oil cooler inlet hose from the transaxle.



4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE

  1. Disconnect the hose from the transmission oil filler tube and transaxle, and remove it.
