Manual Transaxle Assembly -- Removal |
| 1. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD |
| 2. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS |
| 3. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE |
- ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
- Операции по СБРОСУ ДАВЛЕНИЯ В ТОПЛИВНОЙ СИСТЕМЕ выполняются до отсоединения каких-либо деталей топливной системы.
- После выполнения операций по СБРОСУ ДАВЛЕНИЯ В ТОПЛИВНОЙ СИСТЕМЕ давление в топливопроводе остается. При отсоединении топливопровода наложите кусок ткани или аналогичный изолирующий материал поверх фитингов для снижения риска разбрызгивания топлива.
Снимите вещевой ящик в облицовке туннеля пола (см. стр. RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHJ000X_01_0010.html).
Отсоедините разъем.

Запустите двигатель. После останова двигателя поверните замок зажигания в положение OFF (ВЫКЛ).
- УКАЗАНИЕ:
- Может быть выдан код DTC P0171 (излишнее обеднение топлива в системе).
Убедитесь, что двигатель не запускается.
Снимите пробку наливной горловины топливного бака и выпустите воздух из топливного бака.
Подсоедините разъем.

Установите вещевой ящик в облицовке туннеля пола (см. стр. RAV4_ACA30 RM000001RHG000X_01_0010.html).
| 4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
| 5. DRAIN TRANSAXLE OIL |
Remove the filler plug and gasket.
Remove the drain plug and gasket, and drain the oil.
Install a new gasket and the drain plug.

Remove the starter (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM000000YQ4001X.html).

for 1.7 kW Type:

for 1AZ-FE:
Remove the engine with manual transaxle (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM000001BC3001X.html).
for 2AZ-FE:
Remove the engine with manual transaxle (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM000001BC3002X.html).
| 9. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY |

Disconnect the back-up light switch connector.
Remove the back-up light switch and gasket from the transaxle case.
| 10. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY |
for 1AZ-FE:
Disconnect the clutch release cylinder (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM000001DEN002X.html).
for 2AZ-FE:
Disconnect the clutch release cylinder (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM000001396005X.html).
| 11. DISCONNECT TRANSAXLE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY |

Remove the 2 clips and 2 washers, and disconnect the 2 cables from the transaxle.
Remove the 2 clips, and disconnect the 2 cables from the bracket.
| 12. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET |
 |
Remove the 3 bolts and bracket.
| 13. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH |
 |
Remove the 3 bolts and bracket.
| 14. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET |
 |
Remove the 3 bolts and mounting bracket.
| 15. REMOVE OIL PAN INSULATOR |
 |
Remove the 2 bolts and insulator from the stiffener plate.
| 16. REMOVE STIFFENER PLATE LH |
 |
Remove the 4 bolts and stiffener plate.
| 17. REMOVE STIFFENER PLATE RH |
 |
Remove the 4 bolts and stiffener plate.
| 18. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY |
 |
Remove the 10 bolts.
Remove the transaxle from the engine.
| 19. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE CASE PROTECTOR |
 |
Remove the 2 bolts and case protector.
