Canister Removal

Remove the fuel tank (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM000000YLT00GX.html).

Remove the purge line hose, air inlet line hose and EVAP line tube from the fuel pump.

Remove the joint clip and fuel tank main tube.

ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:

1. Before removing the tube joint clip, Check for foreign matter around the clip. Clean if necessary.
   

1. Keep the O-ring free of foreign matter, as it becomes contaminated easily.
   

1. Do not use any tools in this procedure.
   

1. Do not forcefully bend or twist the tube.
   

1. Put the tube in a plastic bag to prevent damage and contamination.
   

1. If the fuel suction plate and tube are stuck together, pinch the tube and turn it carefully to disconnect it.
   

1. Be careful not to damage the clip. If the clip is damaged, replace it.
   

Remove the 8 bolts and set plate.

Disconnect the fuel hose and remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Do not damage the fuel pump.

Remove the gasket from the fuel pump.

Disconnect the wire harness.

Using needle nose pliers, remove the E-ring.

УКАЗАНИЕ:

Slightly lower the sub-tank to remove the E-ring.

Remove the 2 springs from the 2 shafts.

Detach the 2 claws and remove the sub-tank.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the bracket.

УКАЗАНИЕ:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Detach the 5 claws on the filter and remove the fuel pump from the fuel filter.

УКАЗАНИЕ:

When detaching the claw, do not disconnect the fuel main tube.

Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

Remove the O-ring from the fuel filter.

Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel filter.

Remove the 2 O-rings.
