Differential Pressure Sensor -- On-Vehicle Inspection


УКАЗАНИЕ:
The type of ignition switch on this model differs according to the specifications of the vehicle. For the expressions used in this section, refer to the "EXPRESSIONS OF IGNITION SWITCH" precaution (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM00000215G000X.html).


1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the Intelligent tester main switch ON.

  1. Select the menu items: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / DPNR Differential Pressure.

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose from the sensor.

  1. Using SST, apply pressure to the sensor.

    Специальный инструмент (SST):
    09992-00242

  1. Check the pressure value of the sensor.

    Standard pressure:
    Approximately the same pressure as the applied pressure is indicated.
    ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
    Perform the inspection within the range of 0 kPa to 98 kPa.
    If the result is not as specified, check the sensor circuit (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM00000188F002X.html).

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to connect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose.
