INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.INSPECT VRV FOR TURBOCHARGER CONTROL |
Disconnect the B44 VRV connector.
Measure the resistance of the VRV.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection

B44-1 - B44-2
| 20°C (68°F)
| 11.1 to 12.5 Ω
|
Reconnect the VRV connector.
| REPLACE VRV FOR TURBOCHARGER CONTROL |

2.INSPECT VRV FOR TURBOCHARGER CONTROL (TERMINAL 1 VOLTAGE) |
Disconnect the B44 VRV connector.
Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
Measure the voltage of the VRV connector.
- Standard voltage:
Tester Connection
| Specified Condition
|
B44-1 - Body ground
| 9 to 14 V
|
Reconnect the VRV connector.

3.CHECK WIRE HARNESS (VRV - ECM) |
Disconnect the B44 VRV connector.
Disconnect the B32 ECM connector.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness connector.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection

B44-2 - B32-84 (VN)
| Below 1 Ω
|
B44-2 or B32-84 (VN) - Body ground
| 10 kΩ or higher
|
Reconnect the VRV connector.
Reconnect the ECM connector.
