  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

Egr Valve -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Ala30

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the engine cover.



3. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Ala30

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.



    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Ala30

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, No. 2 EGR pipe and 2 gaskets.



4. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Ala30

  1. Disconnect the EGR valve connector.



    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Ala30

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, EGR valve and gasket.
