REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP
REMOVE BATTERY
REMOVE FRONT BATTERY BRACKET
REMOVE BATTERY BRACKET REINFORCEMENT
REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
DISCONNECT COOLING FAN MOTOR HARNESS
REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)
REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER BRACKET
REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT
REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER
DISCONNECT INLET RADIATOR HOSE
DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE
REMOVE RADIATOR AND INTERCOOLER
REMOVE INLET RADIATOR HOSE
REMOVE OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE
REMOVE FAN SHROUD
| 1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
| 2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER |
Снимите 2 фиксатора.
Частично снимите крышку кронштейна радиатора.
- УКАЗАНИЕ:
- Нет необходимости снимать крышку кронштейна радиатора полностью. Частично снимите ее так, чтобы можно было снять накладку бампера.
| 3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER |
Detach the 4 clips and remove the engine cover.
| 4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER |
Remove the 4 bolts, 12 clips and engine under cover.
| 5. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH |
Remove the 2 clips and under cover.
| 6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH |
Remove the 2 clips and under cover.
Loosen the radiator drain cock plug.
- УКАЗАНИЕ:
- Collect the coolant in a container and dispose of it according to the regulations in your area.
Remove the radiator reservoir cap.
- ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
- Do not remove the radiator reservoir cap while the engine and radiator are still hot. Pressurized, hot engine coolant and steam may be released and cause serious burns.
Loosen the cylinder block drain cock plug.
Remove the front bumper (see page RAV4_ACA30 RM0000015RJ004X.html).
| 9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER |
Отсоедините 2 разъема звукового сигнала.

Remove the bolt and loosen the nut.
Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
Detach the hook of the battery clamp from the battery bracket front, and then remove the battery clamp.
| 12. REMOVE FRONT BATTERY BRACKET |
Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
Remove the 4 bolts and bracket front.
| 13. REMOVE BATTERY BRACKET REINFORCEMENT |
Remove the 2 bolts and bracket reinforcement.
| 14. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE |
Detach the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the hose clamp.
Disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the radiator reservoir and radiator.
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 water by-pass hose.
| 15. DISCONNECT COOLING FAN MOTOR HARNESS |
Disconnect the 4 connectors.
Detach the 7 harness clamps from the fan shroud and radiator support upper.
| 16. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD) |
с выключателем освещения проема капота двигателя:
Отсоедините разъем.
Выверните 3 болта.
Отсоедините кабель и снимите замок.
| 17. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD) |

Отсоедините кабель и снимите замок.
| 18. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER BRACKET |
Выверните 2 болта и снимите 2 кронштейна.
| 19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT |
Выверните 4 болта и снимите 2 кронштейна радиатора.
| 20. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY |
Снимите конденсатор системы кондиционирования.
| 21. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER |
Remove the 4 bolts and radiator support upper.
| 22. DISCONNECT INLET RADIATOR HOSE |
Disconnect the inlet radiator hose from the engine.
| 23. DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE |
Disconnect the outlet radiator hose from the engine.
| 24. REMOVE RADIATOR AND INTERCOOLER |
Loosen the 2 clamps.
Disconnect the No. 2 and No. 3 air hoses from the engine.
Remove the radiator (with intercooler) from the vehicle.
Loosen the 2 clamps.
Remove the bolt.
Remove the No. 2 air tube from the intercooler and No. 3 air hose.
Loosen the clamp. Remove the No. 2 air hose from the intercooler.
Remove the 4 bolts, and then separate the intercooler and radiator.
| 25. REMOVE INLET RADIATOR HOSE |
Remove the inlet radiator hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the radiator.
| 26. REMOVE OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE |
Remove the outlet radiator hose from the radiator.
Remove the 3 bolts.
Detach the pawl fittings, and remove the fan shroud.
