  1. INSTALL LEVEL WARNING SWITCH

  2. INSTALL FUEL FILTER GASKET

  3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

Датчик Отстойника Топлива -- Установка



1. INSTALL LEVEL WARNING SWITCH

  1. Install a new O-ring to the level warning switch.

  1. Apply fuel to the O-ring of the level warning switch.

  1. Install the level warning switch to the fuel filter and tighten it by hand.



2. INSTALL FUEL FILTER GASKET

  1. Install the filter gasket and filter stay to the fuel filter assembly.

  1. Tighten the bolt.

    3.4 Н*м{35 кгс*см, 30 фунт-сила-дюймов}


3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


  1. Install the fuel filter assembly.



      COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

    1. Install the fuel filter assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Момент затяжки:
      17 Н*м{173 кгс*см, 13 фунт-сила-футов}

    2. Connect the level warning switch connector.



  1. Connect the 4 fuel hoses. (w/o combustion type power heater)

    1. Connect the No. 3 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*1).

    2. Connect the No. 2 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*2).

    3. Connect the No. 1 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*3).

    4. Connect the No. 4 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*4).



  1. Connect the 5 fuel hoses. (w/ combustion type power heater)

    1. Connect the No. 3 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*1).

    2. Connect the No. 2 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*2).

    3. Connect the No. 1 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*3).

    4. Connect the heater fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*4).

    5. Connect the No. 4 fuel hose as shown in the illustration (*5).



4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the 3 bolts and air cleaner case.

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the air cleaner filter element.

  1. Install the air cleaner cap sub-assembly, and connect the 2 clamps and band.

  1. Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

  1. Connect the mass air flow meter connector.



6. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
УКАЗАНИЕ:
Using the intelligent tester to perform Active Tests allow relays, VSVs, actuators and other items to be operated without removing any parts. This non-intrusive functional inspection can be very useful because intermittent operation may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Performing Active Tests early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time. Data List information can be displayed while performing Active Tests.

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test.

      Tester Display
      		Test Part
      		Control Range
      		Diagnostic Notes
      Test the Fuel Leak
      		Pressurizes common rail internal fuel pressure, and checks for fuel leaks
      		Stop/Start
      1. Fuel pressure inside common rail pressurized to specified value and engine speed increased to 2000 rpm when ON is selected
      2. Above conditions preserved while test is ON


7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Attach the 4 clips to install the engine cover.
