| 1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
| 2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK COVER |
| 3. INSPECT NO. 1 FAN RELAY (Marking: FAN NO. 1) |
Remove the relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
Measure the resistance of the relay.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 5 - 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 - Below 1 Ω
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

Install the relay.
| 4. INSPECT NO. 2 FAN RELAY (Marking: FAN NO. 2) |
Remove the relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
Measure the resistance of the relay.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 - Below 1 Ω 3 - 4 - 10 kΩ or higher
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)3 - 5 - 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 - Below 1 Ω
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

Install the relay.
| 5. INSPECT NO. 3 FAN RELAY (Marking: FAN NO. 3) |
Remove the relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
Measure the resistance of the relay.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 5 - 10 kΩ or higher 3 - 5 - Below 1 Ω
(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

Install the relay.
| 6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK COVER |
| 7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
