Apply grease to the steel ball.

Install the ball into the starter clutch assembly.

Apply grease to the starter idle pinion that is in contact with the starter drive housing.

Install the starter clutch onto the starter drive housing assembly.

Install the 2 starter idle pinions onto the starter drive housing assembly.

Apply grease to the magnetic switch return spring.

Install the magnetic switch return spring into the starter magnetic switch assembly.

Install the starter magnetic switch with the 2 bolts.

for 1.4 kW Type:

5.9 Н*м{60 кгс*см, 52 фунт-сила-дюймов}

for 2.0 kW Type:

9.3 Н*м{95 кгс*см, 82 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Apply grease to the bearings.

Install the starter armature into the starter yoke assembly.

Using a screwdriver, hold the brush spring back and connect the 4 brushes to the starter brush holder assembly.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Check that the positive (+) lead wires are not grounded.

Install a new O-ring onto the starter yoke assembly.

Install the commutator end frame with the 2 screws.

for 1.4 kW Type:

1.5 Н*м{15 кгс*см, 13 фунт-сила-дюймов}

for 2.0 kW Type:

3.8 Н*м{40 кгс*см, 34 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Install a new O-ring onto the starter yoke assembly.

Align the protrusion of the starter yoke assembly with the groove of the starter magnetic switch assembly. Then install the starter commutator end frame together with the starter yoke assembly.

Install the starter commutator end frame and starter stay with the 2 bolts.

for 2.0 kW Type:

9.3 Н*м{95 кгс*см, 82 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Connect the lead wire to terminal C with the nut.
