| 1. DRAIN MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL |
Remove the filler plug and the gasket.
Remove the drain plug and gasket, and then drain the manual transaxle oil.
| 2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY |
| 3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL |
Using SST, remove the transmission case oil seal.

| 4. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL |
Using SST, remove the transaxle case oil seal.

| 5. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL |
Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.
Using SST and a hammer, install the transmission case oil seal.

- Installation depth:
- -0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)
- ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
- Do not damage the oil seal lip.

| 6. INSTALL TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL |
Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.
Using SST and a hammer, install the transaxle case oil seal.

- Installation depth:
- -0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)

- Do not damage the oil seal lip.

| 7. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY |
| 8. ADD MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL |
Install a new gasket and the drain plug.

Add manual transaxle oil.
Install the transmission filler plug and a new gasket.

| 9. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL |
Stop the vehicle in a level place.
Remove the transmission filler plug and the gasket.
Check that the oil surface is within 5 mm (0.20 in.) of the bottom of the transmission filler plug opening.
- ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
- Excessive large or small amounts of oil may cause problems.
- After replacing the oil, drive the vehicle and check the oil level again.

Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.
Install the transmission filler plug and a new gasket.
