1. REPLACE TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL

  1. Place the timing chain cover on wooden blocks.

  1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
    Do not damage the surface of the oil seal press fit hole.

  1. Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal to a depth between 0 and 0.6 mm (0 and 0.024 in.) from the timing chain cover edge.

    ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
    1. Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
    2. Do not tap the oil seal at an angle.

  1. Apply MP grease to the lip of the oil seal.
