1. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  1. Check the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Condition
      		Specified Condition
      1 (E2) - 2 (THW)
      		20°C (68°F)
      		2.32 k to 2.59 kΩ
      1 (E2) - 2 (THW)
      		80°C (176°F)
      		0.310 k to 0.326 kΩ
      ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
      If checking the engine coolant temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to intrude into the terminals. After checking, wipe the water off on the engine coolant temperature sensor.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
