DTC P1625 Idle Signal Transmitter Circuit


DESCRIPTION

The ECM reduces injector operation speed and applied voltage to the injector to reduce the sound it produces during idling. To do this, the ECM outputs applied voltage switching signals to terminal IJEN of the EDU from terminal IDLO of the ECM.

  1. With the engine running at idle, voltage of the ECM IDLO terminal is 0.05 V or less for 3 seconds or more.
  2. With the engine running at speeds higher than idle, voltage of the ECM IDLO terminal is 3.4 V or more for 3 seconds or more.
  1. Open or short in idle control circuit

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EDU - ECM)

  1. Disconnect the B84 EDU connector.

  1. Disconnect the B31 ECM connector.

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness connectors.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    B84-2 (IJEN) - B31-62 (IDLO)
    Always
    Below 1 Ω
    B84-2 (IJEN) or B31-62 (IDLO) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher
  1. Reconnect the EDU connector.

  1. Reconnect the ECM connector.

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (EDU - ECM)

2.REPLACE EDU
  1. Replace the EDU (See page Нажмите здесь).

3.CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.

  1. Clear DTCs (See page Нажмите здесь).

  1. Start the engine and drive the vehicle for approximately 15 minutes.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.

  1. Read the DTCs.
