1. FUEL PRESSURE

  1. READ DATA LIST

    1. Warm up the engine.

    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

    3. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    5. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List.

    7. Read the Data List.

      Tester Display
      		Measurement Item/Range
      		Normal Conditions
      Fuel Press
      		Fuel pressure/ Min.: 0 MPa, Max.: 655.350 MPa
      		37 to 43 MPa: Idling
      Target Common Rail Pressure
      		Target common rail pressure/ Min.: 0 kPa, Max.: 655350 kPa
      		20 to 180 MPa



2. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test.

      		Control Range
      		Diagnostic Notes
      Test the Fuel Leak
      		Pressurizing common rail internal fuel pressure, and checking for fuel leaks.
      		Stop/Start
      1. Fuel pressure inside common rail is pressurized to specified value and engine speed is increased to 2000 rpm when ON is selected.
      2. Above conditions are maintained while test is ON.
