Install the 16 valve spring seats to the cylinder head.

Apply a light coat of engine oil to 16 new oil seals.

Using SST, tap the 16 oil seals onto the cylinder head.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Failure to use SST will cause the seal to be damaged or improperly seated.

Apply plenty of engine oil to the tip area of the intake valve shown in the illustration.

Install the valve, compression spring and retainer to the cylinder head.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Install the same parts in the same combination to the original locations.

Using SST and wooden blocks, compress the spring and install the 2 valve spring retainer locks.

Using a 5 mm pin punch and plastic-faced hammer, lightly tap the valve stem tip to ensure a proper fit.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Do not damage the valve stem tip.

Apply plenty of engine oil to the tip area of the exhaust valve shown in the illustration.

Install the valve, compression spring and retainer to the cylinder head.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Install the same parts in the same combination to the original locations.

Using SST and wooden blocks, compress the spring and install the 2 valve spring retainer locks.
