  4. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR (UPPER)

  8. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR (LOWER)

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM PIPE

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 VACUUM PIPE

2. REMOVE NO. 1 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and No. 1 manifold converter insulator.



3. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold converter insulator.



4. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor connectors.

  1. Remove the bolt, nut and No. 1 manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and No. 2 exhaust manifold stay.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts, manifold converter sub-assembly and turbine outlet elbow gasket.



5. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to remove the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose.



6. REMOVE NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to remove the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose.



7. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR (UPPER)

  1. Using SST, remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor (upper) from the manifold converter.

  1. Using SST, remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor (lower) nut from the manifold converter.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and exhaust gas temperature sensor (lower).



9. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM PIPE

  1. Using SST, remove the No. 1 vacuum pipe nut from the manifold converter.

  1. Remove the bolt and No. 2 vacuum pipe.
