Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the transmission wire.

Pass the transmission wire through the transaxle.

Install the transmission wire with the bolt.

5.4 Н*м{55 кгс*см, 48 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Coat 2 new transaxle case 2nd brake gaskets with ATF and install them to the transaxle case.

Install the check ball body spring and check ball body.

Align the groove of the manual valve with the pin of the manual valve lever.

Temporarily install the valve body with the 13 bolts.

Bolt length:

Bolt A:

32 mm (1.26 in.)

Bolt B:

22 mm (0.87 in.)

Bolt C:

55 mm (2.17 in.)

Bolt D:

45 mm (1.77 in.)

Temporarily install the detent spring and detent spring cover with the 2 bolts.

Bolt length:

Bolt A:

14 mm (0.55 in.)

Bolt B:

45 mm (1.77 in.)

Check that the manual valve lever comes to contact with the center of the roller at the tip of the detent spring.

Tighten the 15 bolts.

Install the ATF temperature sensor with the lock plate and bolt.

Connect the 5 shift solenoid valve connectors.

Coat a new oil strainer gasket with ATF and install it to the oil strainer.

Install the oil strainer with the 3 bolts.

Install the 2 magnets to the oil pan, as shown in the illustration.

Install the oil pan and a new gasket with the 19 bolts.

7.8 Н*м{80 кгс*см, 69 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake.

With the engine idling and the brake pedal depressed, move the shift lever to all positions from the P position to L position. Then return it to the P position.

Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean.

Push it back fully into the pipe.

Pull it out again and check that the fluid level is within the HOT range. If the fluid level is below the HOT range, add new fluid and recheck the fluid level. If the fluid level exceeds the HOT range, drain the fluid once, add proper amount of new fluid and recheck the fluid level.
