  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 1ND-TV)

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 1ND-TV)

  6. REMOVE SELECT STROKE SENSOR

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER


3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 1ND-TV)


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

  1. Disconnect the 2 clamps and band, and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.



4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 1ND-TV)


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner case sub-assembly.



6. REMOVE SELECT STROKE SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the wire harness clamp and select stroke sensor connector.

  1. Remove the 2 screws and the select stroke sensor from the shift and select actuator.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the select stroke sensor.
