  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 FUEL HOSE

  7. REMOVE FUEL HOSE PROTECTOR (for DPF)

  8. REMOVE FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for DPF)

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE

  10. REMOVE FUEL INLET PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE SUPPLY PUMP ASSEMBLY

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the engine cover.



3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

  1. Remove the 6 clips and upper radiator air deflector.



4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

  1. Disconnect the 2 clamps and band, and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the air cleaner filter element.



5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner case.



6. REMOVE NO. 3 FUEL HOSE

  1. Using pliers, slide the 2 clips to remove the No. 3 fuel hose.



7. REMOVE FUEL HOSE PROTECTOR (for DPF)

  1. Remove the bolt and fuel hose protector.



8. REMOVE FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for DPF)

  1. Disconnect the exhaust fuel addition injector connector.

  1. Turn the retainer as shown in the illustration.

  1. Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the union bolt, fuel tube sub-assembly and gasket.



9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE

  1. Using pliers, slide the clip to disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose.



10. REMOVE FUEL INLET PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
After removing the fuel inlet pipe, cover the common rail and supply pump to prevent dirt from being introduced.

  1. Remove the nut and fuel inlet pipe clamps.

  1. Using SST, remove the fuel inlet pipe.

11. REMOVE SUPPLY PUMP ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector.

  1. Disconnect the suction control valve connector.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts to remove the supply pump assembly and supply pump drive coupling.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the supply pump assembly.
