  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE BATTERY

  5. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER AIR DEFLECTOR

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR TUBE

  12. DISCONNECT VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR HOSE

  14. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR HOSE

  15. REMOVE OIL DIPSTICK GUIDE

  16. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

  18. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

  19. REMOVE NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO OIL PIPE

  21. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET

Масляный Радиатор Двигателя -- Снятие



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  1. Loosen the radiator drain cock plug.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Collect the coolant in a container and dispose of it according to the regulations in your area.

  1. Remove the radiator reservoir cap.

    ПРЕДОСТЕРЕЖЕНИЕ:
    Do not remove the radiator reservoir cap while the engine and radiator are still hot.
    Pressurized, hot engine coolant and steam may be released and cause serious burns.


  1. Loosen the cylinder block drain cock plug.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    The plug is on the backside of the generator on the exhaust manifold side.

3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the bolt and loosen the nut.

  1. Detach the hook of the battery clamp from the battery carrier, and then remove the battery clamp.



4. REMOVE BATTERY


5. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY


6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

  1. Remove the 6 bolts and battery carrier.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the engine cover.



8. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER AIR DEFLECTOR

  1. Remove the 6 clips and upper radiator air deflector.



9. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER


10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE

  1. Separate the No.2 and No.3 air hoses.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Pull out the air hoses after the retainer is pulled up.


11. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR TUBE

12. DISCONNECT VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Detach the vacuum transmitting hose from the 3 clamps.

  1. Disconnect the 2 vacuum transmitting hoses from the No. 2 air tube.



13. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR HOSE


  1. Remove the No. 3 air hose.

    1. Open the retainer and remove the No. 3 air hose from the No. 2 air tube and intercooler.



14. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR HOSE

  1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

  1. Remove the bolt from the No. 2 air tube.

  1. Loosen the 2 hose clamps.

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 air tube from the No. 4 air hose.

  1. Remove the No. 4 air hose from the diesel throttle body.



15. REMOVE OIL DIPSTICK GUIDE

  1. Remove the oil dipstick.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, oil dipstick guide, and O-ring.



16. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.

  1. Disconnect the throttle motor connector.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts, and then remove the diesel throttle body and gasket.



17. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

  1. Loosen the 2 clips and remove the water by-pass hose.



18. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure switch.

  1. Remove the 5 bolts, engine oil cooler, and 3 O-rings.



19. REMOVE NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, O-ring and by-pass pipe.



20. REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO OIL PIPE


    COROLLA, AURIS. ZZE150 ZRE151,152 NDE150

  1. Remove the 2 union bolts, 2 gaskets and oil pipe.



21. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET

  1. Remove the 6 bolts, nut, and oil cooler bracket.

  1. Remove the 3 O-rings.
