Intelligent tester:
Inspect the vehicle's ECM using check mode. It is easier to detect intermittent problems when the ECM is in check mode with the intelligent tester. In check mode, the ECM uses 1 trip detection logic, which has a higher sensitivity to malfunctions than normal mode (default). Normal mode uses 2 trip detection logic.
  1. Clear the DTCs (See page Нажмите здесь).
  2. Change the ECM from normal mode to check mode using the intelligent tester (See page Нажмите здесь).
  3. Perform a simulation test (See page Нажмите здесь).
  4. Check the connector and terminal (See page Нажмите здесь).
  5. Wiggle the harness and the connector (See page Нажмите здесь).
