Install the planet carrier shaft into the planet carrier.

Install the washer onto the planet carrier shaft.

Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring onto the planet carrier shaft.

Apply grease to the spline of the starter clutch and the planet carrier shaft.

Install the starter clutch onto the planet carrier shaft.

Install the pinion stop collar and a new snap ring.

Using a vise, compress the snap ring.

Using a plastic hammer, lightly tap the planet carrier shaft so that the pinion stop collar is beyond the snap ring while holding the outside of the starter clutch by hand.

Install the starter center bearing clutch, starter pinion drive lever and starter drive housing cover onto the starter drive housing.

Apply grease to the planet carrier.

Install the 3 planetary gears onto the planet carrier.

Install the starter armature onto the starter yoke.

Hold the starter yoke in a vise between aluminum plates.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Do not overtighten the vise.

While compressing the spring, install the starter brush holder onto the starter armature.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Align the cutout of the starter yoke with the rubber and install the starter brush holder.

Install the starter commutator end frame onto the starter yoke.

Install the washer onto the starter commutator end frame.

Apply grease to the slotted washer.

Install the slotted washer.

Install the starter commutator end frame cover onto the starter commutator end frame with the 2 screws.

1.4 Н*м{14 кгс*см, 12 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Install the plate onto the planet carrier.

Align the groove of the yoke with the starter drive housing cover and install the starter yoke onto the starter drive housing.

Install the starter yoke onto the starter drive housing with the 2 bolts.

Момент затяжки:

4.8 Н*м{49 кгс*см, 42 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Apply grease to the hook.

Install the plunger onto the starter pinion drive lever.

Install the return spring onto the magnet starter switch.

Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the magnet starter switch with the 3 screws.

7.0 Н*м{71 кгс*см, 62 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Connect the lead wire to the terminal with the nut.

8.5 Н*м{86 кгс*см, 75 фунт-сила-дюймов}
