Using SST and a press, press in a new bearing into the generator drive end frame.

Install the bearing retainer plate with the 4 screws.

Place the generator drive end frame on the generator with clutch pulley.

Install the generator rotor onto the generator drive end frame.

Install the generator washer onto the generator rotor.

Using a deep socket wrench (21 mm) and a press, slowly press the coil assembly onto the generator rotor bearing.

Install the coil assembly with the 4 bolts.

5.9 Н*м{60 кгс*см, 52 фунт-сила-дюймов}

While pushing the 2 brushes to inside the generator brush holder, insert a φ1.0 mm (0.039 in.) pin into the generator brush holder.

Install the generator brush holder with the 2 screws.

Момент затяжки:

1.8 Н*м{18 кгс*см, 16 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Pull the pin (φ1.0 mm (0.039 in.)) out of the generator brush holder.

Install the terminal insulator onto the generator rectifier end frame.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

Make sure that the terminal insulator is in the correct direction when installing.

Install the generator rear end cover with the 3 nuts.

4.6 Н*м{47 кгс*см, 41 фунт-сила-дюймов}

Temporarily install the generator with clutch pulley onto the rotor shaft.

Set SST (A) and (B).

Clamp SST (A) in a vise.

Set the generator assembly to SST.

УКАЗАНИЕ:

At this time, make sure that the generator and SST are perpendicular to one another.

Insert the 3 tabs of SST (B) into the 3 holes on the pulley.

To torque the pulley, turn SST (B) in the direction shown in the illustration.

without SST:

111 Н*м{1127 кгс*см, 82 фунт-сила-футов}

with SST:

84 Н*м{857 кгс*см, 62 фунт-сила-футов}

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:

1. Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 318 mm (12.52 in.).
   
2. This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to a torque wrench.
   

Remove the generator from SST.

Check that the generator with clutch pulley rotates smoothly.
