| 1. INSPECT REGISTER ILLUMINATION (LH Side) |
Disconnect the connector from the register.
 |
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J11-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch ON 10 to 14 V J11-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch OFF Below 1 V
Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.
 |
Check that the register illumination comes on.
- OK:
- Comes on
| 2. INSPECT REGISTER ILLUMINATION (RH Side) |
Disconnect the connector from the register.
 |
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J73-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch ON 10 to 14 V J73-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch OFF Below 1 V
Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.
 |
Check that the register illumination comes on.
- OK:
- Comes on
| 3. INSPECT REGISTER ILLUMINATION (Center) |
Disconnect the connector from the register.
 |
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard voltage:
- LH Side:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J33-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch ON 10 to 14 V J33-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch OFF Below 1 V - RH Side:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J32-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch ON 10 to 14 V J32-2 (ILL+) - Body ground Dimmer switch OFF Below 1 V
Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

Check that the register illumination comes on.
- OK:
- Comes on
