Scuff Plate Light Inspection

Disconnect the connector from the scuff plate light.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:

LH Side:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
Q8-2 (+) - Q8-1 (-)	Any door is opened	10 to 14 V
Q8-2 (+) - Q8-1 (-)	All doors are closed	Below 1 V

RH Side:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
P2-2 (+) - P2-1 (-)	Any door is opened	10 to 14 V
P2-2 (+) - P2-1 (-)	All doors are closed	Below 1 V

Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

Check that the scuff plate light comes on.
