INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, INITIALIZATION must be performed (Click here).
1.INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH |
Disconnect the P8 connector of the front seat outer belt assembly RH.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard voltage:

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU) |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal .
Disconnect the O38 connector of the seat belt control ECU.
Connect the negative (-) terminal to the battery.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard voltage:

Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs stored in memory (Click here).
Turn the engine switch off.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Check for the DTCs (Click here).
- OK:
- No DTC is output.
