CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EFI RELAY - ECM)

DTC P0560 System Voltage


DESCRIPTION

While the engine switch is OFF, battery voltage is supplied to terminal BATT of the ECM for storing DTCs and fuel injection feedback learning values.

Condition (a) or (b) continues:
(a) Significant decrease in battery voltage
(b) Open in back-up power source circuit (1 trip detection logic)
  1. Open in back-up power source circuit
  2. Low battery voltage
  3. ECM
HINT:
If DTC P0560 appears, the ECM does not store other DTCs.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EFI RELAY - ECM)

  1. Check the harness and connectors between the EFI MAIN relay and ECM.

    1. Remove the EFI MAIN relay from the engine room R/B No. 2.

    2. Disconnect the A49 ECM connector.

    3. Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors

      Standard resistance (Check for open):
      Tester Connection
      		Specified Condition
      EFI MAIN relay (5) - BATT (A49-2)
      		Below 1 Ω
      Standard resistance (Check for short):
      Tester Connection
      		Specified Condition
      EFI MAIN relay (5) or BATT (A49-2) - Body ground
      		10 kΩ or higher

    4. Reinstall the EFI MAIN relay.

    5. Reconnect the ECM connector.
