ENTRY AND START SYSTEM - Entry Lock Function does not Operate on Rear Door RH


DESCRIPTION

When the touch sensor inside the outside door handle rear RH is touched, the multiplex network door ECU rear RH (rear door ECU RH) sends a request signal to the door electrical key oscillator rear RH. The key receives this request and transmits its ID code. Upon receiving the ID code, the certification ECU determines that the key is outside the vehicle and sends a lock signal to the rear door RH lock through the cowl side junction block RH (multiplex network body ECU).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK MANUAL DOOR LOCK OPERATION

  1. Check that the manual door lock function operates normally.

    OK:
    Manual door lock function operates normally.

2.READ DATA LIST (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)

  1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the rear RH side door courtesy light switch.

  1. After replacing the multiplex network door ECU rear RH with a normal one, check that the entry lock function operates normally.

    OK:
    Entry lock function operates normally.
