CHECK OPERATION OF MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT

ENTRY AND START SYSTEM - Entry Lock Function does not Operate on Driver Side Door


DESCRIPTION

- LHD:
When the touch sensor inside the outside door handle front LH is touched, the multiplex network door ECU front LH (driver door ECU) sends a request signal to the door electrical key oscillator front LH. The key receives this request and transmits its ID code. Upon receiving the ID code, the certification ECU determines that the key is outside the vehicle and sends a lock signal to the driver side door lock through the cowl side junction block RH (multiplex network body ECU).
- RHD:

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK MANUAL DOOR LOCK OPERATION

  1. Check that the manual door lock function operates normally.

    OK:
    Manual door lock function operates normally.

GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
OK


2.READ DATA LIST (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)

  1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the driver side door courtesy light switch.

    Multiplex network master switch assembly:

3.READ DATA LIST (LOCK POSITION SWITCH)

  1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the door lock position switch.

  1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the door lock switch.

5.CHECK OPERATION OF MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT

  1. After replacing the multiplex network door ECU front with a normal one, check that the entry lock function operates normally.

    OK:
    Entry lock function operates normally.

REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY
