Using the intelligent tester, check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally (Click here).

Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (Click here).
Delete the DTC.
Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same SFI system DTC or engine immobiliser system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
