Heated Oxygen Sensor (For Sensor 1) -- Removal |
| 1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
| 2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER |
| 3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER |
| 4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) |
Remove the 2 bolts and heat insulator.
 |
Disconnect the sensor connector.
Using SST, remove the sensor.

| 5. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) |
Disconnect the sensor wire from the 2 wire clamps.
 |
Disconnect the sensor connector.
Using SST, remove the sensor.
