Rear Bumper (For Double Swing Out Type) -- Disassembly |
| 1. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE |
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Detach the 13 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.
| 2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER |

Detach the 8 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.
| 3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER LH |
Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper upper cover.
 |
| 4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 3 SIDE BRACKET (w/ Tire Carrier) |
Remove the 2 screws and rear bumper No. 3 side bracket.

| 6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE BRACKET (w/ Tire Carrier) |
Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper No. 2 side bracket.
 |
| 7. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 2 nuts.
 |
Detach the claw and remove the back-up light assembly LH.
| 8. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH |

- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH |
Remove the rear bumper pad.
 |
| 10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 11. REMOVE REAR LOWER BUMPER COVER (w/ Towing Hitch) |
Remove the clip and rear lower bumper cover.
| 12. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 STEP COVER (w/ Towing Hitch) |

Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear No. 2 step cover.
| 13. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 STEP COVER (w/ Pintle Hook) |
 |
Detach the 10 claws and remove the rear No. 2 step cover.
