  1. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

  2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Floor Under Cover)

  6. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Headlight Cleaner Switch -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for LHD and RHD vehicles.
  2. The procedures listed below are for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

  1. w/o Console Box Lid:

    1. Remove the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion (Click here).

  1. w/ Cool Box:

    1. Remove the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion (Click here).

  1. w/o Cool Box:

    1. Remove the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion (Click here).



2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. w/o Console Box Lid:

    1. Remove the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH (Click here).

  1. w/ Cool Box:

    1. Remove the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH (Click here).

  1. w/o Cool Box:

    1. Remove the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH (Click here).



3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH


Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Wiper Washer.Wiper And Washer System (W/ Rain Sensor).Headlight Cleaner Switch Removal

  1. Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.



4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

  1. Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.



  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Floor Under Cover)

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 3 claws.

  1. Disconnect the connectors and remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.



6. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the hole cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag:

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.



    2. Detach the 16 claws.

  1. w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag:

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.



    2. Detach the 9 claws.

  1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the room temperature sensor.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the 2 control cables.

  1. Disconnect the connectors and remove the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

  1. Detach the 4 claws.

  1. Disconnect the connectors and remove the No. 1 switch hole cover.



8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the switch.
