Wiper Switch Removal

  1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  2. REMOVE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH (for LHD or for RHD LH Side, for Power Tilt and Telescopic Steering Column)

  3. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Wiper Switch -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  1. for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column:

    1. Remove the lower steering column cover (Click here).

  1. for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:

    1. Remove the lower steering column cover (Click here).



2. REMOVE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH (for LHD or for RHD LH Side, for Power Tilt and Telescopic Steering Column)

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Detach the claw and pull out the switch.



3. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

  1. for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column:

    1. Remove the upper steering column cover (Click here).

  1. for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:

    1. Remove the upper steering column cover (Click here).



4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  1. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the wiper switch.
