  1. REMOVE FRONT LOWER DOOR FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH

  7. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

Outer Mirror Control Ecu -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
  3. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  4. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT LOWER DOOR FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  1. Detach the clip and claw, and remove the front door lower frame bracket garnish LH.



2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the front door inside handle bezel LH.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the armrest base panel.



4. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 claws and remove the door assist grip cover LH.



5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Mirror (Ext).Power Mirror Control System (W/ Retract Mirror).Outer Mirror Control Ecu Removal

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Remove the 13 clips.

  1. Remove the front inner door glass weatherstrip LH together with the front door trim board sub-assembly LH by pulling them upward in the order shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Make sure that the pin labeled A in the illustration is detached from the door panel.

  1. Disconnect the each connector.

  1. Disconnect the 2 cables from the front door inside handle sub-assembly LH.



6. REMOVE FRONT INNER DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the front inner door glass weatherstrip LH from the front door trim board sub-assembly LH.

    NOTICE:
    1. Squeeze the metal clip to remove it.
    2. The metal clip may be deformed if it is forcibly pulled.


7. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  1. Remove the 2 screws and outer mirror control ECU assembly.
