PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT)

REPLACE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

CHECK DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT

CHECK FOR DTC

READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DRIVER SIDE BUCKLE SWITCH)

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT)

INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT - COMBINATION METER AND BODY GROUND)

1. Operate the intelligent tester according to the display and select Active Test.

1. Temporarily replace the center airbag sensor assembly with a new one (Click here).
   

1. Check the driver side seat belt warning light function (Click here).
   

   OK:

   Driver side seat belt warning light operates normally.

   OK:

   Driver side seat belt warning light condition can be switched by Active Test.
   

1. Remove the front seat inner belt assembly (for Driver Side) (Click here).
   

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
   

   Standard Resistance:

   12 - 9	Seat belt unfastened (buckle switch is off)	Below 1 Ω
   	Seat belt fastened (buckle switch is on)	10 kΩ or higher

1. Disconnect the K43*1 or L49*2 front seat inner belt assembly (for Driver Side) connector.
   

   1. *1: for LHD
      
   2. *2: for RHD
      

2. Disconnect the E1 main body ECU (cowl side junction block LH) connector.
   

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
   
   

   Standard Resistance:

   for LHD:
