  11. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

Front Seatback Heater -- Removal


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
  3. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  4. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

  1. for Driver Side:
    Disconnect the connector.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.

  1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  1. Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.



6. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and clip, and then remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.



7. REMOVE TELEVISION BASE


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the 3 claws.

  1. Detach the 3 guides and remove the television base.



8. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connectors.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and television display assembly.



9. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Move the front seatback board sub-assembly LH in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.



10. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEVISION BASE

  1. Detach the 9 clips.

  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 television base.



11. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH

  1. Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the seat climate control blower LH.

  1. Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seat climate control controller LH.



12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.



13. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. w/o Climate Control Seat System:
    Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

  1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
    Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 4 wire harness clamps.

  1. Remove the hog rings.

  1. Pass the seatback cover bracket through the hole of the front separate type seatback pad.

    Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seatback heater assembly LH from the front separate type seatback cover.

    Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seatback heater assembly LH from the front separate type seatback cover.
