Front Seat Assembly (For Bench Seat Type) -- Disassembly

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH

  1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.



2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.



3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

  1. Detach the 2 rubber bands.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the claw.

  1. Detach the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion shield RH.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE KNOB

  1. Twist the front seat hinge knob in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.



6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 hooks and remove the front seat hinge cover RH.



7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the hook and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.



8. REMOVE INNER SEAT BRACKET ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and inner seat bracket assembly RH.



9. REMOVE SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Remove the bolt and seat armrest assembly RH.



10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ARMREST HOLE BOARD COVER

  1. Remove the front seat armrest hole board cover from the seat armrest assembly RH.



11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Detach the fastening tape and open the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH.

  1. Remove the front seatback inside pad RH.

  1. Remove the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH.



12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

  1. Bend out the 2 cushion edge tabs.

  1. Remove the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.



13. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  1. Remove the hog rings and detach the hooks.

  1. Remove the hog ring and seat cushion cover with pad.



14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. Remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.



15. REMOVE CENTER SEAT HINGE COVER

  1. Remove the screw and center seat hinge cover.



16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

  1. Remove the screw and detach the claw.

  1. Detach the clip and remove the front seat inner cushion shield RH.



17. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

  1. Open the 2 fasteners and remove the hog rings.

  1. Remove the seatback cover with pad.

  1. Remove the hog rings and detach the fastening tape, and then remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK PROTECTOR

  1. Remove the front seatback protector.

  1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape.

20. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.



21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER LH

  1. Remove the screw and reclining adjuster outside cover LH.



23. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER RH

24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

  1. Detach the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.



25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER TRACK ASSEMBLY RH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 springs and remove the seat track adjusting handle.

  1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 5 "TORX" bolts and front seat inner track assembly RH.



26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK ASSEMBLY RH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 5 "TORX" bolts and front seat outer track assembly RH together with the front seat reinforcement.
