1. INSPECT CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG CUTOFF SWITCH


  1. Inspect the curtain shield airbag cutoff switch.

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance:
      Tester Connection
      		Switch Condition
      		Specified Condition
      G13-4 - G13-1
      		Curtain shield airbag cutoff switch off
      		10 kΩ or higher
      Curtain shield airbag cutoff switch on
      		Below 1 Ω
      If the result is not as specified, replace the curtain shield airbag cutoff switch.


  1. Check the illumination.

    1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination conditions.

      OK:
      Measurement Condition
      		Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → G13-3 (ILL+)
      Battery negative (-) → G13-2 (ILL-)
      		Illuminates
