Transmitter Battery (W/O Entry And Start System) -- Replacement


NOTICE:
Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components.


1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Door Lock.Power Door Lock Control System.Transmitter Battery (W/O Entry And Start System) Replacement

  1. Using a precision screwdriver, pry open the transmitter housing cover.

    NOTICE:
    Do not forcibly pry open the cover.
    HINT:
    1. Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    2. Open the cover as shown in the illustration so as not to drop the button.

2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE

  1. Using a precision screwdriver, remove the door control transmitter module from the transmitter housing case.

    NOTICE:
    Handle each part with care as they are delicate electrical parts.
    HINT:
    1. Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    2. When removing the module, be careful not to drop the button.

3. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY

  1. Detach the 7 claws and remove the transmitter battery cover.

  1. Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2016).

    NOTICE:
    1. When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module from being damaged.
    2. Do not push the terminals with your finger.
    3. Do not forcibly pry up the transmitter battery. The terminals may be damaged.
    4. Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
    5. Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may interfere with proper operation.


4. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY

  1. Install a new transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    1. When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.
    2. Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
    3. Keep the transmitter battery cover interior free of dust and oil.

  1. Attach the 7 claws and install the transmitter battery cover.



5. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Install the door control transmitter module into the transmitter housing case.



6. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Install the transmitter housing cover to the transmitter housing case.

  1. Check that the transmitter LED illuminates 3 times when a switch is pressed 3 times.
