  1. CHECK DTC

  1. CLEAR DTC

Charging System -- Dtc Check / Clear



CHECK DTC

  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  3. Turn the GTS on.

  4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

    HINT:
    When freeze frame data is stored, check the freeze frame data (Click here).

  5. Check the DTC(s).


CLEAR DTC
NOTICE:
  1. Do not clear DTCs until the cause of the malfunction is determined.
  2. After inspecting and repairing the charging system and clearing DTCs, be sure to recheck for DTCs and make sure that no DTCs are output.

  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

  3. Turn the GTS on.

  4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

    NOTICE:
    DTCs and freeze frame data are cleared at the same time.

  5. Clear the DTC(s).
